Tiny Huelo island is home to the last remnant population of endemic Luolu palms, Prichardia hillebrandii. ← Previous Next →
Colleen Soares October 23, 2023 at 9:06 pm Hi, I just spent a week on Molokai, and the highlight was a boat trip around the north coast. How magnificent those cliffs are! I went there specifically to get close to the small islet of Huelo with all of the Prichardia Hilldebrandii growing on top of this 200 foot rock. I found your photo of Huelo and I want to put on my facebook page. I need your permission or a copy of that photo so I am able to. Can you send me other photos you have of Huelo? I am in love with that rock and with prichardia. https://blog.owuscholarship.org/eStockPhoto_1421-205769-01_preview https://blog.owuscholarship.org/2013/09/diving-and-more-in-kalaupapa/huelo/ © Douglas Peebles / eStock Photo Reply ↓
